Mine sounds like there's a nut in the same spot but on the passenger side. Once it starts to warm up again I plan on doing what I can to clean out the space.

Yeh, I probably could have saved some money and gone this route a couple years ago. But I’ve learned a lot along the way!

that is the rule on all projects its never as cheap as you are sure its going to be, and there is always something else that needs attention and since you're already in there might as well... or maybe that is just how mine go!

Haven’t looked into it. Mainly wanted to change things for ergonomics. And the original is showing its age.

Yeah. My eibachs started leaking and was causing my rear tires to chop. So I'm trying something different. Not to bad mouth the eibachs. They've lasted a long while with a lot of abuse. I've already noticed the cornering is tighter but bumps are a little rougher. I need to upgrade my leafs too.

Where is the best place to go for suspension upgrade information and knowledge. I feel ignorant on the matter. Would love to upgrade my suspension on my truck and give a little lift of like 2 to 3 inches to the truck. I have about 186k miles. Would love to upgrade before I hit 200k. Ideally my gials are to have an emphasis on a smooth pavement process but is also capable of going off road in a pinch.

There is tons of good information on here. I've found using Google and tacoma world together to be the best way to search. Google search something smooth riding lift kit tacoma world. Then you will get results of threads on lift kits to read through. @memario1214 can get you good deals on some of the most popular brands eibach, fox, and bilstien for instance.

    Appreciate the nod!
Always happy to help. My recommendation would be to give me a buzz on Monday (406-936-0206)! I would tell you to call me now, but ironically enough we are working on building a bunch of suspensions so we aren't on the phones. I just stepped away for a quick break! When we get on the horn I'll ask you a bunch of questions about how you use the truck, what kind of weight you have (if any) over the axles, what your budget is, etc. We'll get you dialed in!
