Denver John: Apologies for not responding sooner. You're clock is closer to mine than you think.

At 706k we encountered a space rock. Said rock ran a red light and t-boned our worthy ship. To our astonishment, rock's insurance company did not total the Taco!

Now with new fender, door, uca, knuckle, wheel bearing, tie rod, nerf bar, etc. we've resumed our space journey. Will chime in again at 725k.

BTW, Houston, unsure what a 2002 Taco w/700k is worth, but the damage was nearly $7,000. Amazed it wasn't totaled.

    Out!

Any of you keep track of how much you've spent in gas to drive that far? 700,000 miles at a generous 20 mpg is about 35,000 gallons of gas burned. At today's prices, you're looking at $164,000+ in just fuel expense.

I've tracked my fuel since day one and I'm at 195k on the ODO and just over $28k in fuel. Crazy to think I'm just $4k away from spending as much on gas as I did on the truck.

I'm at 225,000 and given prices of used newer truck I'll be keeping it for a while. Such a good truck that has never broken down.

    @tpole

    Just passed 725k,
Had a front wheel bearing making some noise and replaced,
Had a few days with temps down at -20 below,
    Everything is still good ,
Hopefully your right around the corner and back up to speed
    See you at 750k

    Houston:

Delighted to report we've safely entered our second lunar orbit.

Conducted a mid-flight timing belt/water pump change, and we wonder if that will be the last one for this spacecraft?

Supercharged Denver John's taillights are just ahead.

We'll again break radio silence when we hit 775,000 on your side of the moon.

Hope everyone back on earth had a great deer season.

    Keep the Tacos flying; over--

Glad you’re back up to speed! We are cruising in 5th with no events to post. Everything is running on point.
Timing belt service and related parts will be on my list soon too.
    Just crossed 775,000 in 5th.
Kinda hard to imagine that I’m saying that 800k is my next check in !
    Stay safe!

Impressive! I'm in my 40s and I don't have enough years left in my life to get my 176k '03 to 700k !! Nice work folks - I could hit 650k by the time I'm 80 -- Guess I need to drive more...

800k milestone hit! Hit at 80mph!
Time for full timing belt service and going to replace heads because of a tiny head gasket leaking a few ounces every oil change.
Will check back in at 825k!
