M1 Extended performance is on the thicker side for the 20 weight oil, has higher PAO (group IV) mixed in with Group III base oil in it than regular M1.

100% agree with the above post. But i just wish i worked at Toyota as a the lead Taco designer. I could design a taco with alot less dumb stuff on board such as the little crapola 18g fuel tank (they just plain shit on the buyers with that one), then theres the totally stupid BT speaker centered on the dash, and lest we not forget about the OFF ROAD sticker standing out on both sides of the bed exterior. Ironically, the OR is better suited for on road than off. They should have given this model name "On Road" them put REAL AT tires and a small lift and name that one the "Off Road" model.

My 2019 is at 89,000 miles; no issues. My wife's 2014 Highlander is just over 240,000 and still going, so I figure I've got a ways to go before I start thinking about a new truck. FYI, my prior car was a 2006 BMW 325xi. I put over 260,000 miles on that before I gave it up. Buy what you want new and then run it into the ground - that's my motto.

Seems excessive doesn't it... Even if they're 50% more expensive, a leaking timing housing on the 3.5 or blown turbo's on a 2.4, are issues I never have to worry about on a 2015 2nd Gen 4.0...
