Had some time off so I got a couple of projects done. Son’s dogs have been living with us since his deployment. Lab is crate trained and gets into mischief if left out while we are gone. Her crate take up too much space in our room so…IMG_3657.jpg IMG_3658.jpg
This should work nicely. Tomorrow I will build the door with a perforated metal panel in the middle, hang it and call it done. Happy New Year!

Looks big enough for you if you make a certain someone unhappy ... :anonymous:

I assume you only had to add the slats under the existing table ... nice integration of existing structure.

Thank you. There was no structure there…just wasted closet space where all our junk seemed to congregate. So this was a ground up project. Tomorrow once I finish the door I will reconfigure the rods and shelves to make better use of the space.

You have a few colder weeks, so might as well put inside-time to good use. Curious to see what you do next on that space.

Thats really cool. Whats the process for this even look like? Lots of epoxy? I'm wondering how you lock in all that bark! Looks awesome.
That turned out great! Excellent work.

It looks a bit involved, but kind of fun. use a router to clean out shapes of the cookies that you trace onto a foundation board, epoxy, then planing, sanding, polishing.

Lovely day to finish the job. And what’s that I see…Tacoville here in Topanga. There is a white 3rd Gem PRO hiding out too. They both work for a cool neighbor. She’s so cool, she laughs when I call her The Queen of Feet :D

My Betty has one she dreams around the yard for gardening, a radio flyer, non air tire. Hers doesn't have sides, I don't think she would like that though. I think it's easier for her to get stuff in and out of the wagon without the sides. Now grandkids would be another story.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
We decided that two more trees will need to come down in the front yard (right side) to make sure that we have a good safe clearance on the house. Aside from that, the trees are down for the driveway and house. Stump removal starts today.

I gotta say, coming from someone who grew up in the burbs, that’s become more urban all the time, it’s always been my dream to do what you’re doing. I lived briefly in rural WA when I was younger, 3wheelers, land, neighbors living off grid (in the 80s), it’s never left me. I’m working towards this.

Most if it is poplar and some larger pine. There are two oaks, but they are not wide, about 5".
