GOA is great and growing, and FPC is good as well.

The NRA is digging out of the hole, with most of the new board members on board with the newly elected reform members. Big hole to dig out of, but the future looks promising.

That's good to hear. Hopefully, the future NRA will stop supporting gun control bills.
I also have always found it hilarious that the gun control crowd always publicly goes after the NRA. I'm like ya'll are on the same side half the time.

Where the NRA does help is providing access to affordable insurance for FFLs and ranges...so there is that...but GOA and FPC are the ones still in the trenches doing the dirty work that the NRA takes all the heat for...

so i guess the NRA does need to exist so that they can continue to act as a shield for the organizations doing the actual work

I live a measly 5 hours drive away in PHX ... only 3 tanks of gas needed to drive there in my Tacoma! :D

I will have to ask if I can get a couple days off work and was thinking I would be there anyway over that weekend for personal purposes.

The SHOT show schedule is right in the middle of Barrett Jackson Scottsdale 2025. Barrett Jackson takes precedence. :D:burnrubber:

Are there any old school Beretta Fans out there. I'm thinking about a used Beretta 84BB .380 from classic firearms. I've been looking at it for about 5 days now. I don't really need it, but I've always liked old school all steel guns. Plus this 84BB isn't a tiny pistol that you can't get a full grip on plus 13 rounds. Any owners out there in TW.

Mostly stock, just getting it to my liking, just happy to have had the taco and now my 4Runner.
Currently no, previously yes. Moved away from 380 during all the insanity years ago.

So, lately I've been thinking of selling/trading my FN 502T for a Ruger 22/45 SSH (Silencer Shop 3" shorty). Before my .22 Can got out of jail, I was running my Huxwrx 9mm Can on it and it felt and looked great, since it looked and felt like a fullsize 9mm. After getting my .22 Can.. now you can tell its an obvious faker and looks/feels a little off and just isn't scratching the itch I think I was looking for. I'm also, more importantly, starting to think I'd rather just have something smaller for this .22 Can to live on. My original plan was getting a P322 or the FN 502 for the higher capacity and cool factor for plinking, then ALSO get a Bobcat or Walther for a mini, basic suppressed .22 option. The more I think about it though, I dont NEED a tacticool .22 that looks like it wants to be a 9mm with a Can.. when I have a fully decked out actual 9mm with a Can on it anyways. I think I'd rather have the smaller, more basic options like that of the SSH, but I can still put an optic on it for plinking. My only concern is the SSH capacity. Having 17 rounds (+2 follower) in the 502 is pretty sweet.

I'm stuck on if I should just keep this 502 and get a Bobcat or Walther as well.. or just sell/trade my 502 for a SSH. I feel like the SSH would be a nice compromise of the 2.. as I dont really NEED two .22 hosts (not right now anyways). Opinions? Does anyone have both and shoot one more than the other? More specifically the SSH (3" 22/45), any experience with it? It's small, but still not as small as the Bobcat/Walther. But the Bobcat/Walther I dont think would be a great plinker candidate either.

I also think the SSH would perform better overall. The 502 has ran pretty good suppressed.. it's a little dirty obviously.. and gets the optic dirty.. the SSH would solve that problem as well.

    502 with Hux..

totally agree with the assessment of 22 cal guns that look like larger caliber looking weird with a 22 can. I think one of the best looking setups overall is a PPK with a suppressor so that’s my vote.

My buddy has a Beretta 21a Bobcat and I definitely dig it. Fits the sneaky carry bill nicely. Plinking just wouldn't be as fun. I grew up shooting Ruger Mark IIIs and then 22/45's.. and even tho the 10 round mags are always a bummer when having to reload on a fun outing.. I still think I'd rather take that and have the ease/fun of plinking with it vs the tiny Beretta. I want a Beretta or Walther just for the cool concealing factor.. that's about it. Really.. having both I guess is the correct answer.. I just hate feeling like I waste a Host/Firearm.

I do think 22 cans look better in general on both a Beretta/Walther style and the 22/45 SSH vs. the 502 or P322 "fullsize" framed 22s.

Helping a couple of Senior Citizen buddies of mine looking for a specific CZ rifle. Both are long time hunters and got an itch
for a CZ 457 .22lr with the 28"+ barrel. One is in San Diego and the other on the Big Island Hawaii. Neither have great if any computer skills.
It looks like there are is a Scam site showing CZ products for sale directly. CZ DOES NOT sell directly. Only at CZ-USA via authorized dealers.
The other questionable site looks legit and they respond to inquiries submitted. I wonder how many people get sucked in.....
No, they were not intending on going hunting with a .22lr. When you hit age 70+ and you want a new gun it's "just because"

New buy from me the billet psa super sass, first ar10. Already shot her out to 600 no issues! But I used my Optic off my bolt action a 7x25, but I'm thinking for this one going lighter, dropping the power down a little, something more like a 4x16
