Lighter tires, will be a big help. But you are not going to get ridgeline mileage out of any Tacoma. I get 20+ mpg with one step larger but, not much heavier than stock tires, on my 19 sport. But, I also dont drive like a sausage. The Ridgeline is a glorified car... Think El Camino. Ski

Lower it, go for the lightest tires possible, delete the bed, delete the seats that you don't sit in, delete your girlfriend, toss the spare tire, sell the truck, buy a Prius.

I have a stock 2023 SR5 double cab long bed. I was reliably getting 23MPG in the summer and am down to about 21MPG this winter. I could probably do better if I were really careful.

These are odometer miles/actual gallons, with tires inflated per door tag.

Go back to stock setup if milage is a concern . But if u have ridgeline use it as your daily and the Tacoma as weekend truck if u don’t want to go back to stock setup.

Let air out of tires until it sits 2" lower. That should improve mileage. ;)

You bought a truck to hopefully do truck things. A Ridgeline is a car with a bed on it.

You should sell the Tacoma and buy another ridgeline.

It makes me feel a little better to know my poor fuel mileage is normal.
I'm learning to love my truck, I still haven't used it for what I've built it for. I still think I've made a good choice for the platform.

ridgeline is on a minivan chassis with stock tires, v6 doesnt have to work that hard. 34 mpg is hard to believe in a ridgeline. the lift and tires are killing your mpg

Problem is a lot of these cars have MPG displays that aren’t even remotely accurate. When people don’t math out their mpg at fill up they just blindly believe what the display is telling them. Notably, my Tacoma MPG display seems to be more accurate than any other car I’ve owned.
