    I will wait and see if it rumbles after getting lifted. My 2nd gen Tacoma rumbled instantly after being lifted and I had to replace it but my 3rd Gen didn't rumble at all. The way to diagnose needle bearing as being bad is if you put it in four-wheel drive and it stops rumbling then it is your needle bearing. My 4Runner being full-time four-wheel drive I'm assuming the symptoms wouldn't show up until the needle bearing is really really bad

    I have this to install but ii think I’ll replace the bearing first along with new wheel bearings too. Might wait until it’s not life threatening outside. Likely June.
