Good morning, fellow unmodified Taco owners.

Cold(er) and windy setting up for a wee bit of old man winter to kick in the front door. Time to change the oil and get the 8hp snow blower machine fired up so that it can sit in the shed all winter with a full tank of gas.

I know what you mean, I haven't pooped this much in the past 11 and 8/16ths of a month.

Gorilla tape? I hear it's what all of the cool youtuber kids use today.

That is brilliant, well done! And no more clanky ballz, I hate it when they smack together.

It was as windy as a politician on election day and chilly/border line cold today. I got the snow blower dragged out of the shed, she's only 5 angry ponies- not the 8 that I thought she was. I changed the oil last year and filled the tank, and it sat unused in the shed all winter until I drained the tank and used the gas in the riding mower, so I did the right thing and checked the oil level, gave it a sniff and put the dipstick back into the engine. I then put the last of the 2 stroke mix for the trimmer into the gas tank ( a few pints at most) then topped off the tank with ethanol free gas.

It took a few pumps of the primer and a few pulls on the cord, but she rumbled to life. I let it run for 15 minutes, ran the transmission through all of the gears and made sure that the snow blade engaged with the handle bar levers. I drove it back into the shed, turned off the fuel valve and let it run itself dry. It's as ready as I'm going to make it, it looks like Sunday night/Monday it will get put to use.

Oh just puttering around. Starting on my 2023 electric code course bs today (self paced online, thankfully). Need to complete before I can take my limited master test in a month or so.
Edit: the State approved my LLC yesterday too, coming together.

    You?

So if I add a leveling kit to my truck...does that mean I am no longer a stocker? Been thinking about it...

Good morning. It seems that winter weather prep is in full swing around here, I better go fill the tank in the Taco while there is still some gas to be found.
