I've watched them doing ice racing with those tires Chuck...The whole lot of them were a crazy lot .

Haven't gotten a flu shot in 15, 20 years. Didn't get the pneumonia shot either although the wife told me if I didn't get the pneumonia shot she would nag me until the day I die...She would too. I am considering it because of the hospital stay I had. Hope the arm feels better.

I am in the similar situation.
Been trying to be careful with stuff I have to contact with, it seems working well and never nicked by any of those junks, including the china virus until now.
I hope you’d be out of it soon my friend!

Hmmm... Supposed to "get cold" tonight. The weather guessers don't think it's cold enough yet. Time to stock up on firewood. These days, ours gets delivered, or comes in a box with our grocery order. We'll pick up a couple this morning. Glad I don't have to cut, split, stack, store, and no creosote is a big plus.

Good morning! It was a brisk 50* on my walk this morning. Slow down there, Harry Belafonte ... the "feels like" was 37*.
Running a couple errands today. Wife and one daughter are going on a cruise Monday, so we're getting them ready for that.

When I was working, I flew a lot on TWA, hub in St Louis. Took the 6am flight out of Baltimore most of the time. I had so many miles I was always bumped up to first class. I knew the names of the BWI check-in and gate staff, LOL. I cried when TWA was sold to American Airlines. Service took a turn for the worse really quickly.

Good morning. Today I am attending a charitable event, hosted by my son, for the victims of the two recent hurricanes. Should be a wonderful afternoon of music. Only have one additional medical appointment to schedule for my knee surgery. My dentist is closed for the holiday season so I will make the appointment on Monday. I have appointment scheduled through March 14th. From February10th on the PT appointments are 3 a week.

Saturday morning in bed with coffee, I love that. Cold here this weekend so staying indoors is the plan. I'll get some wood shop time, one of my favorite things to do. Working on a new project for a church fundraiser.
This is the prototype. 15" tall made from maple with a burnt edge and boiled linseed oil finish
    20241231_172552.jpg
I have a few more to make.
    20250101_162706.jpg
Nice project for some inside work.

I saw Jethro Tull in Tokyo in 75 Budikon (probably misspelled) one of the best concerts I ever attended.

however, my first concert was The Beatles in 1965 at Seattle coliseum. “Eight days a week” was the opening song. Damn, I’m old

I remember a free concert in Seattle, at Sics stadium, where the Seattle Rainers played home games.(60’s sometime) Hendrix and Janis Joplin

Okay, adding Jethro Tull to my "seen them" list. Thanks for jogging my memory! Also Steppenwolf and the Beach Boys. Boz Scaggs.
