didn't have to run anything to the battery as you can tap in via an add-a-fuse. It's a snug fit under my passenger seat. I didn't want to stash it behind or under the back seats as I use those areas for storage. Then I just used a 3m command velcro strip to the passenger side of my console to attach the remote so I can reach over and adjust as needed.

Replaced the cabin air filter, engine air filter and wiper inserts. Took some measurements so I can order the correct length cables (mic, switch panel, antenna).

Went and tested out the suspension travel of the new Foxes. I'm pretty happy with them so far. I definitely have less body roll when cornering too.

Well, this was terrifying. I could no longer defer the LCA alignment tab problem. I'd considered farming it out, but that little MIG in the corner said "You've been ignoring me for years, here's your chance, you big weenie."

I'm not a welder, I've not welded in years, I've not welded much at all period. I've never welded on a vehicle, I've never welded out of position or vertically, and I didn't really have anything the same thickness to practice on. Honestly though, I don't hate how this went. Except that last one maybe, got pretty ugly, that one was a full on reattachment effort and I think my grounding was spotty. Not going to be getting an insta account to start posting these on...but you know what, this is what I did to my 2nd gen today:

Just placed a order for a RCI powder coated aluminum skid plate. Will be selling my 3rd gen pro skid plate.

RCI has 15% off skid plates right now.

Does that GR steering wheel bolt directly to the second GEN? If so, where did you buy it? That looks super cool

I have a raw set like this for sale in the but/sell area. I would ship them free INCONUS for $75.

I’ll be sure to post once it’s installed. But from the research I did it should. Not 100% on the controls.

I think they are helpful when you don’t use a tailgate to keep stuff tight. I ended up with them when I bought
everything a guy had after he sold his Tacoma. I’m literally passing them along for my approximate cost.
if no one buys them they’re gonna make some really cool shelf brackets.

More mods than it should have...
Basically, strengthens your tailgate frame for adding weight onto the bed (i.e. bed rack, RTT, shell) and reduces/eliminates bed warping from weight/off-roading.
