Looking for a good full size winch bumper , like one C4 makes but expensive , don't know if it's worth it . Wondering if anyone has a thought on it ?

I’m a huge fan of the US Off-road winch bumper; as I didn’t want a full front bumper replacement. I used C4 frame brackets with this, and the Warn evo10s fits perfectly.

Full front steel bumper will give you more clearance up front, but for an everyday driver this is a perfect solution.

If keeping the plastic is an option, I highly recommend a hidden front hitch and wire in quick disconnects for a removable winch on a cradle. I've been running one for a lot of years and do quite a bit of winching.

How much does this weigh and what did you have to modify to install it? Looks great.

The bumper itself is about 65lbs, 55 ish for the winch, and another 5 for the frame brackets. The bumper requires trimming the lower bumper fascia for the opening but has pretty clear instructions and was simple to do. If you have no suspension mods there wouldn’t be anything else to it.

I’m running an Accutune setup with Fox 2.5’s up front. The remote reservoir bracket needed some tweaking to fit them with the c4 frame brackets. The frame brackets are not part of the bumper and don’t have to be on there, but once you get into installing any bumper on our trucks you will see it is only four nuts per side on the frame horns. The frame brackets wrap around the front of the bumper mount and tie back into the frame- necessary in my opinion for hard winch pulls.

Without a remote reservoir setup the only modification would have been the bumper fascia trimming.

Love the US Off-road set up… easy to install, looks clean, adds some skid and front end protection. I ended up putting my OEM skid plate back on but not necessary. Paired with a warn synthetic 8500# (not the evo, don’t recall the exact model) and it fits and operates perfectly.
