any updates?

 

Not yet. Some of the hardware I need is in the mail. Should be coming any day now. I was almost half tempted to trade the bump shocks for Mike's SUA kit (definedengineering.com), but I just can't afford that action right now. Apparently I need a new rear driveline or I must get mine modified with a slip joint to do spring under. So between the kit, glass, driveline, and some welding work it just isn't going to happen.

So... bump shocks will be going on reall soon

Also I have an F'd up ball joint. I'm waiting for the parts to come in the mail and than I'll do a write up. Apparently I'm the only guy to attemp or I should say will be the first guy to successfully replace a lower ball joint without replacing the entire control arm. We'll see how that goes.

 

New dust light installed. I have it mounted on a tab welded to my DMZ bed cage.

It's a PIAA brand light. I bought it off a co-worker who said he paid $80 for it. I picked it up for $20. The mounting bracket is rock solid. Seems to be a quality light.
