Hoping to get some help, I know i can call N2 designs my self but with it being the weekend I'm hoping someone else also went through the same issue I'm currently having.

So that being said. I have the harness installed on my 2020 SR5 Tacoma. I do not have a tire pressure monitoring system therfore I didn't need to do that addional wire cut and splice.

Had the module installed and it "programmed" but the truck would not start. So I back tracked unplugged everything back to factory and left it alone for about an hour hoping it would reset it's self.

Done the harness again and when I done the first initial step of holding in on the button while plugging in the first connector all I'm getting is a red light.. it's not attempting to program anymore!

Anyone else have this issue? Any advice or tips? Like I said I'll call tomorrow but if I can get feedback now that would be amazing !

How is it that you don't have TPMS on the truck? Does it not come standard nowadays? Did you installed aftermarket wheels with no TPMS on them, just a standard valve. If you have the wire, it still needs to be cut and spliced for the remote start to function.

that doesn't make sense, as any vehicle after 2008, it's federally mandated to have tpms sensors installed from the factory. it could just be an 'idiot light' instead, but 2020 definitely should have it.

Most SRs and some SR5s didn’t get TPMS in Canada at all, most SR5 and up got it but only the idiot light rather than the full pressure display screen in some trim packages.

Yep Canadian, doesn't have the wire in the connector for it, there has never been a tire pressure sensor light on my dash. I looked it up maybe a year or 2 after I got my truck cause I never noticed until then (can't remember what I was doing to make me look). But there's a blank cover apparently where the button would be to reset the sensors.

I attached a picture of the connector where the sensor wire should be. (Note it does say in the installation guide that the snip is only needed if the wire is there).

Side side note, don't mind the Wago connector, I did miss read the instructions first and cut that wire then realized is wasn't the right one and have to extend and re-splice it.
