TRD off-road under front bumper.

Does anyone have a picture of what the bottom of the front bumper area looks like on the off-road models?on my sr5 all we have is a felt shield. Just curious what the factory uses on the off-road model.

I suspect it's sturdier for wind buffeting, and shaped for better deflection - since there's no chin spoiler/air dam.

Its plastic composite trash. I will replace mine with a metal skid like my last 2 Toyotas. My Offroad has something that looks like it belongs on a Prius . Theres a support bracket you need too if you go the metal route.

 

Toyota should have skipped the air dam and skipped all the composite and felt sheilds and put the same style metal skid plates from the Pro and Trailhunter on every Tacoma. It could have been a highlight feature on the new truck, a segment exclusive!
