1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I got left to my own devices for a month, no boss, no supervisor... Might get some stuff done finally if I can shake the teams meetings too

 

Supposed to drop under 70 this week over here
Might have to wfh as well

 

Parts for the new Yota (RC) finally coming in



Still waiting on chassis, tires, driveshaft, axles, and then I'll have a few more items to order

 

Building one for the kiddo too?

 

I hope he gets into it! @cynicalrider loves wheeling his little truck with his kid, something they do together often

Everytime I take my kid to the park, I have him run the RC with me so he gets used to it



I've got a little crawler and a quick basher and we take both out every time

The one above is my first step to building a "comp" crawler; there's a local hobby shop with a big indoor off-road course to practice on and compete

He enjoyed watching it when we went a few days ago so I'll be taking him there as well

 

I definitely do not miss that kinda of weather...

Man's already well behind on his projects, you're going to bring a full halt to his life with talk like that.

 

That first part of your statement is exactly why

It's kind of like "you already bought those New Balance....might as well start wearing them"

 

We still need his innovation, he's not expendable yet. When he stops coming up with new/interesting ideas then he's ready to have kids.

I love it, and wouldn't change it for shit but you will give be giving up a lot of your personal time.
