I know this is a 1994-1996 Caprice based solely on the dashboard/interior, but they must have just switched it to an antique plate, because Carfax yielded no results; I was driving with Amanda to pick up a scrap dishwasher when I spotted this beauty in the parking lot of what appeared to be an antique shop…

Nice Impala SS

 

I believe it was a Roadmaster, but I saw a wagon at a cars and coffee that had not only been swapped with all of the mechanicals and underpinnings of an Impala SS. Not only that, but it had a 6-speed manual transmission, which I'm assuming came from a Camaro of roughly the same era! It was a factory LT1 car, so 1994-1996, but obviously these landyachts never came from the factory with three pedals; I also do not know if the 1994-1996 Impala SS came with rear disc brakes. If this wagon has the towing package, and the upgraded suspension and posi rear that come with it, then it may as well be Impala SS with extra space!

 

Those are fun, my nephew had a 95 SS..loved that car.

My grandma bought a brand new Buick LeSabre Limited in 1988 and owned it for 11 years, putting 88K miles on it in that time. She sold the 1988 privately and bought a new 2000 Buick LeSabre Limited, which she owned until she stopped driving in 2012, and only put about 35K miles on in 12 years! I’m guessing that a senior citizen bought this Olds new, garaged it the entire time they owned it, and rarely drove it. It then probably sat for 5 to 10 years…

 

If I bought this car, it would get a serious stereo system upgrade…
