same well i cut the back straps into 4" chunks

same, i dont keep roasts anymore. I have a little stew meat.

 

8-10 inches of fresh snow, cold temps, high pressure and standing beans, it’s gonna be a good hunt this afternoon.

Does anyone know how, or if you even can remove the breech plug on a 40+ year old Thompson Center Renegade 50 caliber Flintlock??

If so, how do you do it. I have always shot it to empty the barrel in past years, but not looking forward to going out tomorrow (last day) if the weather is the same as the past 3 days....low teens to single digit wind chills!!! But, I will do it if I can't somehow unthread the plug and push the powder and sabot out through the breech end.

we had a storm here. 6” snow then sleet n freezing rain. 1-4” more tonite. but IM ON THE HUNT. bunch of birds and a few cardinals at the bird feeder. Damn bluejay keeps chasing them off. so he is on the hit list since deer season is out.
