I'd say 5 is bottom barrel to start. The more you can do the better it'll be. Especially on a fresh start like you did.

a nonstick pan like a cheap OXO is all you really need for eggs. Keep the temp under medium and use silicone spatulas. Wasting gas or electricity heating up cast iron just for an egg or two.

Compared to Northern VA, little cheaper and more bang for buck in every aspect!

Where in NOVA? Haven't lived there in 15 years, but I grew up in Vienna/Tysons. Traffic's a lot better here too.

Actually right outside Tysons, the Leesburg area. I noticed that, is that the case for the bigger cities as well?

Right? I'd love to get out there, but I let my 23zero swag get moldy and it needs cleaned.

I don't have the space in my apartment complex to do a thorough job, are there any services in the area that can clean it up?

No idea about the services but I had a similar thing happen to my tent. I guess it still had some moisture in it somewhere after storing it or it finally just aged out. I went to pull it out and set it up and the rain fly had delaminated and all the tabs had come loose. Now I just have a nice mesh tent. No rain fly. They discontinued the tent too so I just have to buy a new tent which blows. Been eying up the wawona 6 or something similar since I’ll probably have the kids with me now too. I just like seeing people get out there though.

We took a good bit of photos on this trip. My buddy has just got a Rtt and I had just replaced my rear shocks. (My eibachs were leaking and I went to Fox 2.0s.) So we were both itching to get out there. The camp spot was off of grassy gap rd a little north of Dahlonega. It's a fun technical trail. One of the few around at this point. You are up on a mountain over looking the city. The city lights actually looked pretty from there. But you also could see the stars really good as well. What I've learned from thi trip is a really want a rtt. He had his tent set up ready to be slept in and the fire going while I was still getting all my bedding in the ground tent. Then when pack up he was done within a couple minutes while I was prying my stakes out of the frozen ground freezing my hands in the process. (Gloves were the one thing I forgot to bring.) Haha.

Thats what I like to see! was it windy up there while you were camping? thats one of my concerns with a RTT is the extra exposure. well that and trying to get out of the tent down a ladder while trying to stay asleep and pee. clearly his set up and tear down was considerable less time consuming.

I've camped through 2 hurricanes and Oklahoma storms, the wind isn't that big of a deal.

The old and pee thing.. You probably should stay on the ground.

Hurricanes, huh? You rocking a Hilleberg or something like that? I've been camping my entire life and have seen well staked tents torn apart by 50mph winds.

The pee thing is the biggest drawback I would have for a RTT.

I think I have a baby bladder or something.

Buy an old canteen from the Army-Navy store and use it to pee in. Just make sure it's clearly marked lol.
