What does being fat have to do with setting the carpet on fire though... Also what are you people doing with your trucks that setting the carpet on fire is the concern over there just being fire in the cab to begin with.

    I swear, third genners man

you mention most people on GMRS, a couple years ago I was on a trip with a couple of friends pulled up with the group, and i was 1 of 2 with a GMRS in a vehicle, everyone else of the 8 were all CB guys.

on the other hand down here with the people I usually end up with most are GMRS, but I also keep a hand held CB when im with that group just in case

It's taken about 3 years, but I finally got everyone in my wheeling group (with the help of another member) to switch to some form of GMRS be it a real GMRS radio or a hacked HAM that works on the GMRS bands.

Any body want/need 3rd gen tpms sensors? Getting new tires tomorrow and putting in the new 2nd gen sensors so the damn light goes off.

4 Used, still good alloy oem sensors. Free. Pick up in Spokane valley. Not going to ship. If someone wants them I’ll keep them tomorrow. If not I’ll tell the tire store to toss them.

okay, maybe not the place to ask this, but are Tacoma prices still absolutely insane? been thinking about selling my 09 Tacoma and buying a 4Runner since my kids are getting bigger and we have the dog, and i always feel bad chucking him in the truck bed/ topper in his kennel. anyway just wondering if i should maybe cash out while i can and start hunting for a 4R

How much will you miss the bed for other things?

No idea what prices are like on that side of the mountain but 2nd gens aren’t crazy like they were. When I looked the other week there was 128 second gens for sale just in Spokane. Most were listed well under 20k unless they had a crazy amount of mods or low miles and by low I mean less than 50-60k.

3rd gens are the exception. Lots of 3rd gens for sale at or above the cost of buying a brand new 24-25 OR fully loaded.

That being said prices are rumored to increase with potential tariffs. Some prices are already climbing. Could possibly see Covid pricing return but who knows.

Edit. Just for shits and giggles I just looked again. Prices did go up, substantially, just from a week or two ago. Quite a few trucks still listed from the last time I looked. Were 16-18k, now listed at 21-23k. These are all dealer listed trucks.

I mean, i use my bed hardly ever honestly and ive a trailer. for when i do, the truck has also got a truck topper and that limits what i throw in my bed.

my 09 has pretty new suspension, FOX remotes, and OME springs on the back and Bilstein fronts and OME springs. brakes last summer better stereo ARB bumper and skid lighting a "prinsu" styled rack up top stuff that makes it useful, and decent looking. but prices are always all over the map.

way back use to flip subaru's and i could ask for 4-5k for older outbacks and 15k on the early 10's not so long ago
