I was hoping to take advantage of Kira's work and not have to do any design myself lol. I suppose it'll be a good project for me.

I'd have to defer to y'all on details like what gauge metal is best. I could weigh the compressor if that would help.

I can pull it up on my computer a little later, post a screenshot, and give you the details of the setup if that helps to give you a mock up piece

You can cut it out on cardboard and adjust to your liking

So it only went this far as design goes.

Bad memory but I think I was using dimensions written on either cardboard or a napkin

    Screenshot 2025-01-06 180047.png

You'll need to add the second leg/foot, and figure out the exact spacing for the holes for mounting.

    Dimensions are as follows -

About 9" in length for the top plate, at 7" wide

    Screenshot 2025-01-06 175622.png

The flange is approximately 2" tall and the foot is just over 1" long.

Slots are 2.3625" apart center to center, which is an odd number so I'd wager to say the actual measurement is 6cm?

That puts the top slot and the bottom slot distance at 12cm center to center. Slots are 7" long and 0.29" wide.

Multimode t-case swap is on my list of "wouldn't it be fun" projects that I don't expect to ever do.

Anyway, j-shift with manual hubs ain't bad. Lock the hubs in in the garage, then pop it in and out of 4wd as needed. Everthing's manual so it just works, no delay.

I never drove a single cab Tacoma though so I definitely want to try one out before deciding on an extracab again

It's fun. I miss interior storage space, but the turning radius and visibility (as long as you don't have a topper) are amazing. Even with a 3RZ it feels quick enough.

I'm 5'11-6'0". Lucky for me I like a close seating position.
