just a couple of things tbh
i had one and looked around for a light option and a not crazy pricey option for the eco f150s buuut its either 1500 for a intercooler relocation or 800 for a heavy bumper to mount a winch so i gave up and sold the winch lol

Kinda why I’m glad to have the tool. Easier to hook up to straps. Yanking is tough on a vehicle, done it a few times. Just trying to take care of it.

depends on whatyou are yanking on and what kind of gear you got tbh. a strap is terrible to snatch people on and will damage stuff but just for pulling someone out ive never damaged anyone else or my self from it.

i would still like a winch one day but eh to much work on the eco boost models
look on marketplace there is some that show up once and awhile.

Oh yeah, just nice not to have to pull someone hurting the equipment as least as possible. Unfortunately I find myself yanking at trucks I shouldn’t probably be helping.

haha ya if you find your self yanking on them it might be time for a special rope for that one so you dont damage nothing.

a winch is super nice to have thou even just to have around the house!

should have just got one of those tow hitch mounts then you could have put it in when you needed it

for any other truck sure... but the f150 its terrible! since the intercooler is in the frame at the front you have to mount the front hitch below the front bumper and loose any bit of front clearance you had.

 Yikes, I scrambled late one evening to a gas stay few miles away just before the first snow right before Thanksgiving to fill the tank and tuck it away. It’ll stay off the roads until first real spring rain washes salt away now.
