I'm happy to have my small snow blower but it can't handle the snow at the end of the driveway where the plow will pack it up. Maybe I will stumble across the "right" deal next spring/summer and get something in the 10hp range.

Shoveled us out today. Think we got 5 inches up here.

 

It looked like we ended up getting about 4-6". Definitely thankful for 4WD, even though I didn't need it yesterday, because they take their sweet time plowing the roads around here

Looked out last night and was like "ugh I'm gonna have to clear the driveway a little bit again". Looked out this morning and the wind cleared it for me. Win!

Good morning MD.

Hey there neighbor!

I've got about an inch or two of new snow on my driveway...easier to clear than the six inches that nearly exhausted me yesterday.

It's another work-from-home day for me.

 

Me too, me too… another work from home day!!

But not quite sure how to drive a cement truck from the couch… that’s above my pay grade. Guess I’ll just wait for someone to tell me, or do nothing. The latter sounds better to me!

 

The sign at Crownsville Automotive says they specialize in Lexus and Toyota, but they work on everything.

For me, I have a desk job as well as physically handling C17 parts...both unserviceable/serviceable.

The base is closed today so no 0700 Maintenance Production Meeting.

We've been in this house/neighborhood since I arrived to Dover AFB (from Ramstein Germany) as a Master Sergeant select with a family in 2006.

One of the neighbors said a "C-5 Pilot" from the base was the first to live in this house...built in 1999.

We are the third owners and we're very fortunate to get into this house...the sellers were told a military family submitted to buy and gave us our first home.

 

Just cleared off the snow from last night… luckily this time it was more of a dusting and was able to make quick work of it with a shop broom.

Wife just left for work, feel like she’s almost “mad” at me because I’m off and she isn’t… Guess I’ll do some laundry and maybe clean something throughout the day, that’ll make all right again!

Just filled the snowblower with gas and oil. Its cold. Had to come inside to get warm. This may take awhile.

On Coffee Break #2.

Driveway is rough cleared, (I can drive on it). Vehicles are rough clean. Need to move them and get the drive way around the vehicles. Not as windy as feared.
