My wife got me a foldable welding table for my birthday the other day so put that together this morning.

then spent a few hours cutting, fitting, and adapting rear blade to quick hitch. Why I hast to adapt a LP blade to a LP quick hitch I’m not sure unless blade was old enough it was t compatible. It all works great now

They make different size QH’s for different category tractors. Also some implements are not QH compatible. What did you do to make it “fit”?

Yeah i lv my quick hitches..

That is a QH05... Its basically for small & compact tractors (got that same hitch)...

But what you probably needed was a 10. That's for midsized tractors & heavier work/items.

actually had to go up to a 10 after bending my 05... Catching a stump on edge of a 66" hog will do that on a 40hp tractor.

The 05 is perfect for BXs & 25ish hp tractors......

How much does your tractor set up weigh?

I have a BX1870. I bought it used a couple months ago then bought the RB0560 blade for the rear. The blade must have just been made before QH compatible stuff it was too narrow at the lower pins by about 7”.

Rainy day so continued with projects. I had bought a chinesium hitch/ weight bracket for the rear to move trailers and hang some weights and it works pretty good only minimal modification to use with quick hitch except the shape of the QH would only allow me to hang 2 weights in each side instead of 4. I also plan on building a cart for this so I can just pin it on and drop the hitch and go but couldn’t do that with weights so close to QH. So I cut some 1/4” plate and made an extended bracket to hang the weights in and get them out of the way. I over built as usual but it won’t break

Yea you can prolly get the casters at HF for cheap. I’d want locking ones so they don’t roll away on ya with all that weight.

I went out this morning and put it on the QH and stuck the weights on it and it hasn’t fallen off yet so that’s a plus. I’m going to try the bungie around the weights and see if that eliminates all the clanking they make. I need to find a couple more but not paying new price for them

    Happy New Year y'all.
Been on the Cat forklift last few days. Yesterday we were standing up 20 footers and dumping out the dried mud and setting up for the leaf blower station.
Heard from a supervisor that we're not getting vesco forklifts back and switching to the Cat's. Something about who's responsible for damage done by the flood.

You can try what a friend did and bungie a 100# sandbag across the top. Quieted them down significantly and added the desired weight

That’s a good idea. I wrapped a bungie around them tightly and that helped alot

We got 11” yesterday. I know it’s not much for yall up north but pretty good for here. First time using the Kubota to clear. Bucket in front blade on rear. It did a good job. I’m used to clearing with a blade or pusher so this was different. Tractor is small and a little light but got it done
