Dude that sucks!! I'd agree on not paying that lawyer... Most out here I've dealt with if I got a ticket and they can't get it reduced or at least moved to non moving violation they give me my money back...

I think this will be a hit. More highway capable than the 310, more offroad capable than the 310, and looks a hell of a lot better. I don't think it'd get me to sell my F800GS and go smaller displacement, but it's still sweet and would be a contender for those shopping for something like a 390adv or crf300rally or similar small to medium thumper with ADV dreams.

Unfortunately it was payment up front :( yeah usually they at least get the fine reduced by how much I paid them and the point removed.

Sent in my request to the judge for a restricted license today so we'll see what they say.

I will give it a year and then get a 2027 if they live up to expectations. I love the smaller bikes :D If they're not outrageously priced, I would probably even keep my Rally. It's just not great for anything other than 65 and below roads......55 and below is even better

The base 800 is around 10 to 13(depending on options), if the 450 comes in around 6 to 8.........gonna sell like hotcakes.

Not even, lol. Just tried to get some work done on the firebird replacing the clockspring wiring but it ended up not fixing it and was a pain in my ass. Also broke the turn signal stalk while I was at it

This is interesting.. it popped up in my google suggested.. $3250 4speed electric dirt bike with an optional street legal sumo kit

    https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/amp-moto-rr-electric-dirt-bike#/

Did some reverse image searching, can get the same bike on alibaba directly for about the same price. Still intriguing though and strange to see a complete electric bike priced that low.

Nice way to start the year... now you can work toward the IBA federal holiday award.

Also how is the Super Ten with a passenger, fairly comfortable for her? I want a better bike for two up riding and thinking an ADV would be a versatile option.

    It would have been absolutely
Honestly think at this point if I was going to buy anything bigger than the razor it'd have to be a stark unless there was a substantial deal like my buddy got with his beta explorer (which is an apollo rfn).

The big thing in my current opinion is what is rideable/maybe what you want to ride. The larger explorer/surrons are too big to be playing around on sidewalks without a bunch of attention but they will do better in any offroad stuff (rocks/roots, groomed dirt id say they are equal). The razor i currently feel like I could ride down sidewalks and not get blasted for riding a "dirt bike".

Finally getting the Scrambler inspected for a rebuilt tile this morning so I can put insurance back on it and legally ride it again. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Has anyone had any luck finding anything out about the Kawasaki KLE 500 that popped up at EICMA?

Just for shits-n-giggles I spec'd one out. Every option for the sumo version except the seat cover was $5827

Yeah the surrons are an interesting gray area, it's a weird spectrum from electric bicycle to electric motorcycle and they're in the middle. I've seen people in town here pulled over for riding them on the road, but they're not the right power class to ride on the street either. The fact that this chinese one can be made street legal is interesting to me, comes with a VIN, MCO, and the sumo package adds the necessary lighting kit.

For a street legal electric sumo, not bad. I still don't think I'd buy from a no-name drop ship brand, but still encouraging to see one come down so low in price.

I'm not a fan of EV's by any stretch, but I can see where they have their place. I rode an EV bike when I was in Chattanooga camping in a campground. It was nice being able to ride it to/from the bathrooms.

Agreed. I think more than likely they will get classified into electric dirtbikes and not allowed riding in public.

I've never looked into it, do surrons have vins and MCO's? I'm guessing no?

    Edit: quick google...

p cool and surprisingly cheap, but it seems to be pretty heavy for that price. it's heavier than a stark varg which is much more powerful, and pushing 100lbs more than an Altis sigma or Ultra bee. Similar weight as a Storm Bee. But can't argue with that price lol. I wonder if it's closer in size to a stark varg/storm bee, or closer to the altis sigma/ultra bee.
