Consolidation has solved a lot of my issues over the years with the truck. I think in this case it would help to achieve the suspension, utility, and convenience goals all in one. I like doing a lot of just in time design work, but I did come up with a list of things I need integrated to maximize usefulness. First step begins this weekend, pulling the bed to box the frame and begin making the flatbed. Once the flatbed base is done the rest can be done in the garage without the truck present.

I'd love to see your SW assemblies or drawings if you're willing to share em.

You could full send a total rebuild on the rear, the guy I got my e-locker from is doing a 3-link and 2nd gen axle on a custom frame

I have lots of right now projects, without help they'd all be stalled in place most of the time since I'm one person with a full time job and a full time hobby that I'm working into a job. But this one is getting pushed forward in between the race truck work since that is always stop and go with all the pieces going out for machining and balancing etc... Might as well get something else done in the meantime while I've got an excellent friend that likes to work on the same kind of stuff.

I fixed my rust issue and beefed a lot of the rear frame already thankfully. A three link is super tempting but really I need a final weight and design before I do that, I don't want to redo links and springs and possibly gas tank mounts after finding out I built myself into a corner. My leafs do a pretty good job flex and comfort wise right now.

Are you existing in a superposition? Should I call a team to extract you from a singularity?

Completely unrelated... but I got a guy in "trouble" a while back at work for mounting a 3mW Laser at eye height in a major walkway at work as there is a specific instruction besides common sense not to do that, but what got him in trouble was not that he did it in the first place, but that he refused to acknowledge/correct the issue.

and now anytime he sees me he asks when laser pointers will be banned from the office and gets all huffy anytime we talk about anything work related.

feels a bit bad when a good workplace friendship kinda get ruined by my own inaility to let things go :bananadead: [insert I'm just a chill guy meme]

Or.....just buy a new seat of your choice :spending:

Those seats did look sharp though! I never sat in them.

nah fuck that, if you pointed it out in a way that was reasonable and he can't say "my bad" and move on he's the one ruining it by not handling it gracefully
