    @time623

    "ai...ai...AI, AI!"

Kind of wish I was going to CES.

Thought it was pretty funny seeing the claim that the "5070" will give people 4090 performance

Let's just make a blanket statement and get people excited for no reason, without going into specifics like it'll be BS with the use of frame generation, AI, and more

yeah he avoided the easy out and had to do paperwork for something that should have been "well duh" and had a very easy fix.

at this point I'm overthinking it and need to let it go...

On behalf of people wearing corrective lenses though, thanks for removing the retina frying laser from direct eye trajectory.

We are rebuilding the front end new steering racks and the axles hubs. All that fun stuff. Honestly, where we're at is not bad. Just a little jealous of your lift. This sure beats doing it in my old dirt driveway.

lmao he initially said "how is this different than me shinning a laser pointer of the same power in your eye?"

well when a machine does it, its just a violation of safety standards, when a person does it intentionally it may be assault...

I need to read up on that... that would be an insane waste of computational power lol.

assuming this means for video playback or videogame frames

Highly recommend the 3rd gen 4Runner sport seats if you want a cheap or temporary upgrade. They have more side bolster and adjustment points, and look OEM. Those plus seatjackers were a night and day difference in comfort for me. They are easy to find in partouts and salvage yards, think I paid $100 for mine.

Yeah I was looking for some of those for a while, leaning towards spending a little more on some newer buckets instead. Figure I got a welder I might as well use it for something haha
Currently the search is for BRZ seats, since I had a BRZ as a daily for a while and never had an issue with them. Might even be able to get some heated ones too.
    upload_2025-1-7_13-46-37.png
Problem is most of them that pop up are the FRS seats, and they have this huge bright red shoulder bolster which would just look dumb in the truck. No heat options on these either. Nice seat covers to cover that up would add an extra $1-200 which is almost as much as I'm trying to pick this up for in the first place lol
    upload_2025-1-7_13-48-44.png

They come up occasionally, and a great set of brand new reupholstered ones came up a few weeks ago. I got the guy way down from what he was asking, but still just a bit more than I wanted to pay, and I bailed on it... I shouldn't have, it was such a good deal

I never really took that car on any long drives though, that'd be my only concern
Literally nothing could be worse than what I have now though so everythings an upgrade

Less than $400 seems unlikely for anything that isn't junkyard status. That junkyard in south Gilbert was pretty good when I lived there. The dudes at the counter would barter too which was cool
