Has anyone installed a 4x4 system from a TRD OR to a Prerunner?

As a general rule if you're paying someone to do the work it's a lot cheaper to trade your Pre-Runner for a 4X4. If you are doing the work yourself, you might break even on costs vs trading for a 4X4. I wouldn't do the conversion unless it was a truck I inherited from dad or grand dad, and I wanted to keep it in the family.

    OR:

If I were going to go all out and build a custom rig with lots of upgrades to the suspension, engine, and drivetrain. In that case you'd be replacing most of the factory 4X4 running gear anyway.
