So as I usually do when bored at work, I was looking at local dealerships online to see what's around. Found my old XSR700 just got taken in by a dealer near me, I guess the guy I sold it to sold it to them. He only put on about 500 miles in the last 2.5 years...tempted to go check it out lol. price is ridiculous though considering it MSRP'd at $8500

Wow, they are proud of their bikes looking at those prices. A 2015 FZ-07 with 23k on it for $5950??? I paid $5500 for my 2016 with 5k miles a couple years ago (granted it does have a rebuilt title, in retrospect I probably could have offered 5 and he would've happily accepted, but still) when the used market for everything was completely out of control.

oh dang hopefully not! i heard the winds got worse and some fires have jumped up in acres destroyed so hopefully everyone is okay over there.

 

I did inquire about it...they said they don't have much room to move on it yet lol. certainly isn't worth that price...but we'll see how long it lasts in the dealer. maybe in a month or two they'll be willing to play.

I had initially purchased it for $7250, sold it for $7000. Crazy the guy only put on 500 miles in 2.5 years, but as I recall he was a new father.

They certainly are. i could maybe see if they were OTD prices after tax and all other fees. but otherwise no. must be the CA/year round riding tax lol

I believe he's closer to the Thousand Oaks area, but still hoping he's okay. it's huge now. I swear I could smell it riding around last night.

 

Sad to see the state of the area right now. A good portion of PCH has been leveled.

I was looking at the IBA Federal Holiday award but I have some vacation plans that won’t let me ride next month.

The S10 is great for a passenger! My wife enjoys it, especially since the top box has a pad for the rear passenger as well. My wife is only 5’4” though so not sure how cramped it would be for taller people but she likes it.
