That is a rather broad and overarching statement. Since the 1990s we've had 9 cars with MPG displays from manufacturers all over the globe, not one has been more than 0.75 mpg off of actual. My Tacoma is within 0.4 mpg, which is close enough I rarely even do the math any longer.

    What's the lift?
    - The higher the lift, the higher the drag.
Same with the wheels and tires. 'Bigger' = increased drag from size, and rotational inertia due to the mass your engine has to spin... it is how things work.

The best thing you can do to improve your MPG is shave your entire body including the quills on your back.
Grease yourself up with petroleum jelly then wrap your entire body in saran wrap.
This will make you more aerodynamic when you drive and removing your clothes will lighten the load.
Come back and tell us the results.

You can afford to lift then you can afford the low MPG.

Curious, how much do your tires weigh? With my 5 58lb Falcons and 2.5" lift I'm getting ~14-15mpg

Keep this shit outta there! Don’t soil the Dumbgeon with this trash.

Hey, since all you “I’ll even reply to a ridiculous 34mpg Ridgeline thread” people are here, how come none of you had the time to attend Squid Party 2025 at my house last Saturday?

I see these posts and wonder a lot of things.

it’s a 4x4 truck. Not a muscle car. Not a station wagon crossover.

It won’t be fast and it won’t ever be fuel efficient.

I've got the OTT myself. Before the tires I was consistently getting 18mpg. I don't know if I trust the truck estimating the mpg, probably need to calculate it the old school way.
