Funny I've seen SAS'd 100s sell usually within a year of the conversion. There might be one or two that survived as strictly an off-roader. For all practical purposes, I would rather have a SAS Hilux Surf early gen.

Around here narrow is better. Maybe that is a desert runner or something.

Work is right in the middle of a fire evacuation zone that started about an hour after I left last night, so no work today

I might not even have a work to go to tomorrow, according to the fire zone maps it’s right in the fire area.

L shaped building in the middle of the second photo

Sierra Madre is where my daughter’s school is and they’re shut down too. Our new house is well away from this fire though.

I'm usually pretty laid back, but I learned from the best when it comes to being a dick and I love an opportunity to let loose now and again. But I don't do it unprovoked.

I know people coming from Honda's specifically feel very rudely awakened when they make the jump to offroad applications... they are used to cheap mass produced chinese crap from a factory that actually has decent quality, or bespoke US made stuff. In the offroad world, most stuff is practically 1-off by the time its actually installed due to the amount of fabrication involved.

This dude pissed me off because he, first of all was going about everything wrong, but to condescend to the maker and talk down KP's product and the owner's intelligence because he bought a "builder part", not something that's finished anyway... that means you gotta finish it yourself you moron. I know the owner of the company can't be rude to him, even though the guy deserves it. I'll stick up for any parts maker if they're a stand up operation and good folks and I know KP is.
