    Datejust my dad gifted me when I graduated college. It's got the acrylic crystal and probably getting to 40 years old. Wore it at my wedding and will give it to my son when he becomes a man. Using an app on the phone it's still under 5 seconds a day which is impressive considering it hasn't been opened up since it's left the factory. Plan to send it to Rik Deietel based on a recommendation here and Rolex forums.

    $700 total. No problems & I don't regret using them. The watch is running well and it's been a few months since I got it back, I really don't pay attention to see how many seconds it's off a day. All in all worth it

    I’m hoping to get advice from those who would like to share their knowledge.

    I acquired this Oris automatic 635 (?) and do not want it.

    It appears it’s in kind of rough condition.

    I’m looking for advice on;

    How to confirm it works
    What it’s worth, or how I would figure this out
    Where I should try selling it

    Far from an expert but browse watchrecon to get an idea of approximately value.

    Thanks, I checked out watchrecon, no relevant listings at the moment.

    Last time I checked out eBay I didn’t find anything, but this time I found several listings between 500 and 1000. They are all in of course much cleaner condition, but I saw a few videos of how to clean up what looks like some pretty superficial condition issues.

    Seiko Presage on a Jack Foster strap. I'm a fan of the original Cocktail Time but couldn't bring myself to spend what the market is asking when a new reproduction can be had for a bit less. I had originally wanted to get a Citizen Eco-drive to be my casual off-duty not a G-shock watch I can throw on quickly without having to set the date and time, but I always get drawn back to mechanical watches.

    I got this Shark Clip for Christmas. I like it a lot except the colored nylon fabric slips a bit during wear. I’m hoping some salt water and sweat and wear will stiffen up the fibers.

    They're definitely not a watch that everyone can wear. Even the smaller 41mm and 38mm watches are pretty thick. That's also what makes them so recognizable and distinguishable from other watches. I love mine.

    Some black dials look boring in pictures but that has a very clean presentation. I love it.
