I was a my local dealer and I found a trail hunter on display. Off course I had to test drive it. All I can say wow, I am impressed with all the goodies. I took it for a test drive and I was so disappointed with how noisy that roof rack is. If I could afford to buy it, I would remove that noisy rack immediately. What a disappointing feature for an expensive beast.

I love the intake! but I do agree; a noisy roof rack is pretty annoying and has to go.

Are you 100% with out a doubt certain it was wind noise from the rack & not rushing air sound from the intake snorkel system?
Sounds like you need to go drive it again, for research purposes.....
I have zero interest in roof racks, but def curious if what you herd was in-fact the wind noise from the rack....

Nobody on here with a TH????
    Obnoxious wind-noise from RR??

TH here w/o RR. @independenceoverland on youtube reported annoying Toyota RR noise in his maiden voyage. Don't know if he changed it out.

Turbo sounds from the DAI snorkel are unmistakable from anything else. There will be no confusion between the two.

At least the Toyota one. YMMV with others.

I am 100% sure it was noise from the rack. The turbo noise is different and pleasant. I came from highly modified turbo audis urs4 to be specific.

I just picked up my 2024 Trailhunter and heard wind noise but no rack vibration which surprised me when I got up to 100 - 110 kph (62 - 70 mph). I looked to see how it was attached as it didn't get as noisy as I expected when I noticed my front deflector panel has a flat bottom and not with a curved recessed section at the bottom that I've seen in some other posts. I've also seen that the some of the early versions (prototypes?) had curved sections top and bottom whereas my truck rack is straight flat top and bottom edges on the front panel (with TOYOTA logo).

The most horrendous noise once hitting around 70 mph on highway, dependent on wind direction. Something in the roofrack of my 2024 Trailhunter starts vibrating at that speed. Makes it almost obnoxious to drive over that speed. Have to slow down.... I can't be alone.

It is not the snorkel. HELP!!

Is everyone having this sound? Or just a few? Just a few will make me want to search for a fixable root cause within the rack. Not to mention returning to Toyota to look for a fix if this is really common
