By engineer brain, you mean you’re going to completely overcomplicate things, while also making components that exist in the same areas next to impossible to work on individually without tearing absolutely everything apart?

Wait, you don't like having to take the wheel off and headlight out to change the battery?

What about the oil filter being behind the wheel well? We can put a drainage channel, and a little flap to get to it, to say that we did everything we could.....

Easier for robots to assemble, maintenance is YOUR problem, not MINE :)

Blackberry jam cookies. First time with this recipe. Needs a few adjustments, but the texture and flavor are good. Main problem was with the amount of jam, which is on me.

Precisely. As the saying goes, “engineers would climb over a mountain of ‘inexperienced individuals’ to fuck a technician”

Anyone can build a bridge. That's easy.
It takes an engineer to build a bridge that juuuuuuuuuust won't fall down.

This doesn't sound as bad as disassembling the front end of Ford F-series because a headlight bulb burnt out.

Or that some engineer at Cadillac decided that if a fuse blows for something simple like the instrument cluster lights, the whole car is disabled.

I restored a 1990 Cadillac Brougham d'Elegance. Wiring harness like the fucking space shuttle. Absolute nightmare removing the 30 year old aftermarket alarm and piece of shit aftermarket head unit, and a small (by normal standards) amount of rodent damage.

Those cars are made to be as hostile to non-dealer maintenance/repairs as possible, I am quite sure of it.

1990 was the last year of RWD and it was the highest trim package ever offered. Great shape in most ways. It matched the 88 Fifth Avenue - last year RWD on those and the Fifth Avenue was offered as a special model. It was a heck of a lot smaller and easier to drive than the caddy in the city, and easier to get parts in case something broke or needed a new panel or something, god forbid. Caddy was black, Chrysler was white.

My dad had a 2019 F-250. He wanted me to swap out the stock long-life bulbs for something better. You have to remove the headlamps to access the bulbs.

I love toyota, heater core in the matrix is behind one small plastic panel. I broke but but I was expecting to have to take apart the whole dash.
