Certainly no fancy mods getting done, but the toilet and sink next to the work bench make life easy

not a fun process, but necessary and worth it. you'll end up with a stronger than stock frame in the end if you do it right.

if you have access to one, i used a plasma cutter on mine. made getting a proper cut in those tight spaces a whole lot easier.

agreed, very necessary and very worth it. A long time ago one guy on TW said something like “dude just fix your truck”. That stuck with me. If I had a plasma cutter I would have pulled it out for sure. Dropped it off at the welder this morning so I’m excited to pick it up later and have this done.

I know it’s a little early to ask, but do you like it better than the kenwood? The reason I ask is that it looks like you had the same one I have now. I don’t have any real issues with mine it’s just that I’ve had it for four years now and it just always seems to be lacking “something”. It just works. Might as well be a $50 eBay radio.

Does anyone know what the wires behind these two blanks would connect to?

I love it. I mean it's not perfect but the customization and how it's open source makes it great for changing things around. I'm still trying to figure a few settings out but overall for the price, I'm very happy. I'm also glad I went with the 9" volume knob control. This size already seems huge compared to what I had before. I think a 10" or bigger would just seem too much.

So I just looked it up. It’s got wireless CarPlay. Now I’m really curious! Lol! Agree with you on the screen size for sure. The nine inch just looks right.

    1. Lifting 2 inches on my Tacoma using bilstein 5100 front with ome spring for the front and icon add a leaf for the rear and put 285/70/17 tires and wheels.
    2. Installed HID retrofit on the headlight (finally night riding more enjoyable now)
