Yea, pretty much anything south of Sac im not too interested in, as i can day trip those areas with friends usually. I also happen to have family in Bend so i know ill be there at least one day. Lastly, a thought about stopping by the transition outpost since its literally right off the freeway on my commute and could also be an option as well. Ill starting looking at all theses places and see if i can get a little plan of attack over the weekend or something. THanks for the suggestion, much appreciated :D.

Ill have to save Canada for another trip unfortunately.

    Yeah.
Yeah, this is likely the best you can do without also replacing the front wheel, plus it appears to be a straight steer tube which probably limits you as well. It would be better, but maybe not enough better to warrant the cost. Unless it is broken or has completely worn out bushings, I'd just run it as-is and save for something a step up from the Marlin. The Marlin is a great choice for someone to start on and see if they like mountain biking. If you do like it, you will eventually want something better.

The mud around here is more black.

The bike trails are supposedly for bikes only but I presume horses are getting on there, unless one of the alpacas escaped.

I'm back to phoenix in June to start my career. will be stoked to be close to GOOD trails. Here in Reno trails aren’t exciting and driving 40 mins at least to Tahoe for the good stuff makes it a lot harder to find motivation especially for solo rides

Might mean I take a few years off snowboarding until I can get out of Phoenix again :(

My son was not completely too big for his old bike. But it seemed like a good time to also get him a new bike. Moving up from a lightweight 24” Trailcraft HT to a 26” FS shredder. Won’t be easy to pedal but will be a lot more fun on the DHs.

First ride on the new bike. Coming from a 10+ year old big box store diamondback, this is pretty crazy.

Really wanting to do a late February St. George/zion trip again. Except this year it’s doable given not in school anymore…

wheeling, biking, and at least A hike in Zion. camp 2 nights and a hotel/motel 1 night. Sounds pretty stellar to me.

only hesitation is would be solo. Tis a long drive home and logistical nightmare if something were to happen..

Anyone want to do 3 days of wheeling and biking in St. George late feb-early March?

I’m not gonna ride big pro lines in hurricane like rampage shit. But I can hold my own on some solid techy stuff. Also have enough self control to not do anything I know I’d end up crashing lol
