Well, skid plate and all engine plastic panels are back in place

I had left everything off until I decided to tackle the knock sensor

I'll do that a different weekend

"Forscan" was an interesting name to go with lol

But you could fit more metal in a Tundra.....

 

Tacoma is perfect

Plus depending on the metal thickness, I get it cut down to never exceed the Tacoma bed

You'll never see me carry a 4' x 8' sheet of 1/4" thick steel

 

I get it I was just messing with ya. Back to a gen 1 or maybe a 2?

Yeah I was like, this dude wants me to carry 3/4" thick plywood in each arm

1st Gen to keep it cheap and just stick with something I'm familiar with

Got the crankshaft tool just for the 5VZ, not to mention specific swivel sockets for getting those thermostate nuts and more

No way brosef, no mobile work for me

I've taken care of multiple trailer repairs already at my house; the best ones are those with a broken mount for a locking pin or something

Take some 3/16" scrap, do a quick drawing on CAD, and part is ready to go within 5 minutes

I quote an hour for those jobs since I'll sometimes have to knock off paint/rust before I can weld the new one on

These are absolute fast money makers (when needed) as I used them twice for fixing these fold out ramps for stuff like push mowers



Just need to weld them opposite of each other on the same plane if you don't want them to come off at all

 

What if you put your cutting table on the flatbed too?
Imagine the trail repair possibilities

how many of these hinges do I need to support 5k lb lol

The ones I posted are called "bullet hinges" but the common barrel hinges are a lot bigger!
