I get that ... admire the judgement/restraint. Some teacher on a 3-month medical leave bitched about parents on Facebook (only to private buddies) and then Facebook changed the visibility rules ... her leave extended from months to "forever". And Facebook is definitely NOT a 3-letter government agency.

 

This world isn't exactly LEO-friendly, these days. Son to a retired officer from back home in GA, and son in law to two retirees from here in AZ (originally from LASO during the riots though).

My brother in law back home just put on the badge, and I just don't think I could do it today, unfortunately. Serve and protect a bunch of people that would rather see you dead.

less is more sometimes. I think is younger people sometimes forget we represent more than just ourselves. I’d rather not be made an example

If you f*ckers had to live in either AHWAHTOOKIE, GOLD CANYON, or PAYSON, which would it be and why?

 

I have a stone fireplace in my living room. Everyone always gets laid in that room.

 

Gold canyon because close to the homies and a in n out. If I had to live in the valley.
Payson cause mountain and the woods. If I didnt have to live in the valley.

Well how does the dating scene play into this aswell? A bigger pond to pull from in the valley. Guess depends on the type of chick youre looking for too tho.

 

Ahwatukee would give a lot more job flexibility. Can commute to almost anywhere in the metro from there in a somewhat reasonable amount of time. Gold Canyon would limit you to east valley, Payson would basically limit you to Payson. I've heard of people doing a commute from Payson to Mesa, but that sounds like fucking hell to me.

 

I know a couple people that do the commute from payson to the valley and dont mind it at all. It is an hour from the Chilis in payson to the 202.

 

Not as bad as I was imagining, but still 150 miles round trip a day has got to get old quick
I mean thats like 40k miles a year just commuting if you're in the office everyday

 

I didn’t expect to be single at this point in my life. The path forward isn’t clear. But I’m uncertain how much flexibility I’ll have a year or two from now.

My time in Arizona is the only time I considered a place a home

 

Gold Canyon or Payson. I can't elaborate without getting banned again.
