Anyone installing this on a 4.0L motor have issues with clearance issues using an aftermarket aluminum radiator? I have a Mishimoto radiator (similar to CSF) and it looks like clearance might be a bit tight. It would be helpful if anyone with experience could chime in. THanks

Also, how do you guys with the 12-15 air injection system get the intake to fit?

THanks for that. I had seen that post while clicking around in here. It looks like his was a 5th gen 4runner with the 3.5 where the S/C mounts on the other side of the motor. So i was looking for someone with the 4.0 1gr that ran the porcharger with an aftermarket radiator. What is your set up?

I have the CSF, but not the standard cold piping. It's not close to anything other part though. Where are you having trouble?

I haven’t bought the kit yet. I am trying to make sure it will fit first. I am noticing in pic online that the upper coolant hose is a tight fit between the radiator shroud/coolant overflow and the s/c bracket pulleys.

if yours is a stock 2005-2015 (2nd Gen) Tacoma with the 4.0 engine, it fits.

Procharger includes a new hose+fitting to make space for the pullies and the upper coolant hose. That setup will work fine with an aftermarket radiator like CSF/Mishi. The hose they provide is a weirdo and it's not easy to find a replacement so I ditched it. I was able to do it a little cleaner with a cut stock hose + a 45deg bend.

Thanks for that info. It’s super helpful. Have you had any of the issues that some of the 3rd gen guys have had with the mounting bolts bending or the belt coming apart?

I had some issues shown early in this thread. Once those kinks were worked out it's been solid.

Most of those problems I think were just because myself and @Smokehouse got in very early. I'm sure they have it sorted by now. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another kit, the SC itself has been flawless.

My 2014 w/Procharger fits fine with the air injection system.

Has anyone run a Procharger with the 3* cam gears and/or an intake manifold spacer? I've seen some posts and YT videos about guys getting some gains from these all motor, but didn't know if they affect anything with the tune of the supercharger.

I recently bought the used Procharger kit that was for sale on here. In reading the install instructions, I noticed that most of the work needed to install the cam gears and spacer is done in order to install the Procharger so I thought it would be worth potentially doing to install it all at once.

I have gears, they were in before the S/C. I think you should do headers instead. :transformer:

I have both installed. It doesn’t affect anything with the tune of the supercharger. But I would recommend a OTT tune after break in. You won’t be disappointed.

Thanks for that. I've been reading more and more positive things about OTT and a supercharger. I think i will be going that route. Did you notice any difference with the cam gears or the intake spacer with the s/c?
I did buy some new VVTi solenoids from Eddie yesterday. So I'll be installing those hopefully soon.

Truthfully I didn’t notice a difference with the SC. When my engine was NA I did notice a little bottom end from those mods. Then after getting the OTT tune it was a night and day difference. The tune is what made the biggest difference. My truck is a 6speed.
