I may need some m3x8mm titanium hex cap screws but I don't think I'd find those in one of those buckets!

Are all those Imperial or metric in the barrels or a mix? I get the Ti can't/won't (Ti fasteners are just weird) 1/2 / 12 mm and up or are there smaller in that smorgasbord?

How about McFaddens? Best hardware store in the State‼️ If they don’t have it they will order it!
Order Titanium bolts from FleBay… Found 316 Stainless on Amazon, but have received a bag of low carbon steel bolts from Amazon when I ordered 304 Stainless. Called customer service to say WTF and the girl on the phone said how do you know that they aren’t stainless. I sent a picture of a bunch of bolts hanging on magnet then asked her. When’s the last time you stuck a magnet on your stainless refrigerator? Crickets

It’s literally a mixture of anything that’s hit the floor. Metric, UNC, UNF, all thread, drywall screws, tek screws, hex bolts, machine bolts, wedge anchors in all types of grades and finishes, nuts and washers. Might be just one of something in the whole bucket might be a couple hundred of them. If I don’t have any takers I’ll just scrap it all.
That place is way way over priced and anything they have can be found on the internet. But you gotta pay for convenience if you can’t wait. That being said I’m in there enough I know they have exceptional customer service. And I like everyone there.

I wondered if anyone would ask something like that. I am not a "hoarder" but even a single big-ass-nut just for the sake of it is soooo 5-years-ago for me.

I am a recovering hoarder but my desk looks kind of weak these days. It got heavily pruned in the wake of separating with the wife-to-be-but-not-really. Little doodles and tchotchkes, none of which needed to remain.

Now it's just some groups I shot, a sheet from a dad jokes day calendar (why did the hipster burn his mouth? He ate pizza before it was cool), and a cool ass color changing hot wheels lambo from the 80's that I loved as a kid.

Then a big-ass nut that usually is on lampposts should fit in fine!

You can put the lambo on top of the nut. :D

When I worked at ASU, I had a paper target of a .145 mil group from zeroing my 308...I was a little disappointed that it triggered only two people :annoyed:

Yeah man just have to come get it! I have a collection of nuts on my desk and other items that got shipped to us without threads. Funny thing is it's split 50/50 between Domestic and Import mistakes.

You know one of those nuts might come in handy on the work bench as an RC stand. They look like they're about 4 inches. 20241227_073432.jpg

You have a good eye the one from the bucket is 3-5/16"
The big blue one on my desk is 4" but the desk paraphernalia is not up for grabs.
