Living room can be the new Master bedroom and the master can be the new living room with access to the hot tub

 

All my wife wants to do is go on cruises. I'd rather build another house than go on another cruise.

A cruise isn't my ideal vacation, but some of the Norwegian Fjords cruises look neat. I guess it depends on location. It seems like you always hear about people getting sick or disappearing on cruises though.

 

Locked in a small island with the same sometimes-annoying people for days ... no. In a pinch if it is a cruise that does not allow people under a certain age ... but still does not seem enticing.

One cruise line that offers trips on rivers through Europe changed to "adults only".

 

Paradise Valley in a mini mansion backing to Mummy Mountain! Oh wait, that wasn't on the list. Carefree foothills! Oh, that wasn't on the list either. North Scottsdale!...never mind too expensive these days. Gilbert's nice and green. I'd pick the Agritopia area or a Chandler subdivision near the Chandler/Gilbert community college. Lots to do near Williams Field and Val Vista.

I hate Phoenix. It's a mismanaged city with too many problems, high taxes and a corrupt police department. (Almost sounds like every other city.)

Ahwatukee is somewhat close to the center of everything. I never spend time there.

Apache Junction/Gold Canyon is too far from everything. Not much going on there. There's a new subdivision being built out in the sticks. Big bouncy Bosom Rock or Blossom Rock I think it's called. A bunch of Cracker Jack stucco boxes when I looked 4 or so months ago.

Payson is...well, cooler than the valley.

Parts of Surprise are okay, but it's far out from Scottsdale, Gilbert and Chandler. Those three cities seem to attract the most people.

 

Fair enough. I'll bring my kayak and make my own cruise.

 

When I went to France, I drove myself on the roads. Walked Paris, train to a Rouen, then drove. When at Longue Sur Mer (Normandy coast) I marveled at the two "rolling anthills" (tour busses) that vomited out its contents so the people can spend 30 minutes looking at things, then packed up again.

The "constabulary" never found sufficient fault with my driving to pull me over.

Yeah its a long commute. But the way they always explained it was they would rather spend that time driving rather than a hour and a half in stop and go traffic. I get it. I would too.

 

Yeah never know whats going to happen. Work on getting here first then worry about all the other stuff.

When I was working in Scottsdale, it was faster for me to drive to Payson than home in the west valley after work at 4pm.

 

I used to sit in that shit both ways on the work commute to Tempe from Gilbert...now if I have more than one car in front of me it's traffic

 

Yeah it aint that bad. And gives a nice chill down time before getting home.

Yeah they were fun for the first few but I am over that now.
