My search is a bit different than his, but just as a side note, since I'm still looking at GX/4R....the ransoms people want right now for 5th gen Runners are mind-blowing. I pretty much shelved those for now.
Late 2nd gen Tundras are a better buy than both here, tempting but I don't need that much vehicle. Not too keen on going back to 13mpg either haha.

Brand new spectra premium from rock auto. I tried to cleanup and refresh a used tank in 2019 but it eventually rusted and leaked.

Getting rare snow tonight on the coast, that means that even if we get one whole little inch, the entire place is gonna shut down for two days. Which is to say, it'll be nice having less traffic this weekend.

Says we should get some today too but it really isn't looking like it. Been hardly anything so far and December is usually our snowiest month.

That's a nice spot to put a tank, the Chevy one fits so well though I don't know why you'd go to the effort of making a bespoke one.

lol which chevy one, all I've seen is the ford tank and its unbaffled, you can run a fuel bucket, but that is less effective off-road than on

We usually go a few years in between any snows that accumulate, so it'll be interesting if it actually happens. It is cool to be on the beach when its covered though.

67-72 chevy truck 2nd tank, has some slosh baffles but really not that important to just feed your main tank

Oh, is that going to be enough capacity? Another one I've seen people use is the 90s grand cherokee tank, it's plastic though so you need a skid for it

Yeah that's pretty good increase. I really want to do the ford 32g saddle tank when I get this camper going since i won't need that space anymore. Free me up for a four link

I donated my bike in Arkansas, it needed a lot of work. The arboretum is nice, but there’s not much to see after a few times really. I’m just gutted I passed up on my dream job in Arkansas for this. The work is really quite dull too.
