Hey guys, so I got my springs along with some Billy 5150s. I opened everything up and started thinking. The springs will give me 4" unloaded, so will I need extended brake lines in the rear. If I do, will I be ok to drive around till the lines get in???

Get lines before you install. Most 1st genners I've talked to report 4.5-5" of lift out of these springs.

You could get away with the stock brake line at 3" because it's rubber but anymore than that you'll need an extended line. You don't want that line to break on you.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yeah we talked and just to put my 2c in YES you do need longer lines hell I couldn't even install my Expos with the stock break lines. I got just about 5" of lift with the Expos and the 1.5" extended shackles (3/4"Lift) and with the springs with no load(IE frame on jack stands) it's more like 7"

Wait a minute...you have lift shackles too?! So you current ride height in the rear is ~5" correct? So with stock length shackles it would be more around 4.25"?

Well I got everything I need.. Except shackles. I've looked around and I cant find any that DO NOT give lift. I ran down the road to fat bobs garage and he won't have any for 3 weeks. Toytec has OME ones that are greasable but wheelers Offroad says they only work with OME springs. .. Help!!!!

I thought they would work with stock shackles and their bushings?

Why do you need longer shackles? Your stock shackles will work fine unless you really want to go higher. Your expo leafs should have come with new bushing too. How high do you plan on going in the front?

You're supposed to use your stock shackles unless you plan on going more than 3" in the front.

If you shackles are anything like mine were your going to want new ones. I had to beat my bolts out and almost had to cut one off.

Yeah I only have 3 inches in the front. That's why I need shackles with NO lift
