Cheap one called OUGESH. Had good reviews and cost only $70. 900lb torque 1/2". Hooks up to my 20v 5ah Dewalt battery. Even if it takes a dump now, it already paid for itself.

Dude, this was ridiculous. First time I removed UCAs off a Taco. Hurt my soul to bend the fender.

 

Very, very, 'funny'. Haha. To be fair, I had NO idea there was such a thing as 'value line' when it came to toyota parts. Lol, I think I paid full MSRP for their value line which yes is pennies below their disc OEM line. smh.

 

Strange though, right?! How did they get it in there without bending?

 

Any of you guys have experience with Ark micro splashguards? Do they actually do anything? They're tiny.

 

Yeah, to be honest I didn't either until I watched one of his videos... And the parts description doesn't say crap about it either, they make it sound like they are the same thing...

 

Not certain i have this right, but I think you speak of bending a fender flange, to get the long bolt out. I have an 09 that got a new frame, they clearly swapped the control arms while the body was off the frame. This was obvious because they put those long bolts in backwards! Only way I could figure to get them out was to cut the head off the bolt and buy new. That is unless I wanted to lift the body off the frame.

I hate letting anyone touch my vehicles; I occasionally goof up too, but I correct it where I can, and otherwise, at least it is me screwing up my own stuff.

 

Body goes on after the suspension is on the frame..

 

Lol is this a trick question? I'm pretty sure they put most of the car together before they drop the body on it.

 

Made it happen. I just cleared anything that was in the way of the bolt.

 

I know, new to me as well. Check this out, AZ200 is 'newest' version? What does this mean? Does this clarify for anyone?

 

You guessed right. I was thinking, during manufacturing, they probably drop the body onto the already built frame/suspension, so that's probably how they got it in there to begin with without bending the flange/fender seam.

 

The OEM's supersede parts all the time for various reasons, should be for improvements, or maybe changed manufactures, that is why you will see different part numbers for the same part...

 

Had to look them up...I can't see how they would. What are you getting for your $?

 

I wish someone would make real splash guards made from rubber like on the 1st Gen Tacos.

 

Had to replace the front door speaker today as the previous was going bad.
Previous owner installed some Infinity Kappa fronts. I replaced the bad speaker with this one from DS18. Chose this one as I recently replaced the tweeters and liked the DS18. Also I could order a single speaker vs a pair.
Sounds good upon initial testing but I’ll give it a few days before final judgment.
(Getting too good at taking off these door panels from numerous projects)
