For OEM parts I second Ourisman (formerly McGeorge.) So far best prices on OEM parts and their support is spot on. I almost ordered the wrong sway bar links and they caught me and adjusted the order.

 

Partsouq is also worth checking out. They have nice interactive parts diagrams that makes finding hard-to-find part numbers a breeze.

 

I have had good success with olathe Toyota parts. Good prices as well.

 

Local dealership website. I order online for the discount and then pick up to avoid shipping costs.

Weird,

I called for a gas cap yesterday and they mentioned that they would price match. Just show them the online price they have.

 

I tried that once, it was like swimming in a shark tank with all the salesmen taking pot shots at grabbing my keys so they could throw me in that black hole to sell me a new truck I didn't want. Seriously, there were 3 salesman hovering around my first gen while I was inside getting new keys and wanted it for a trade-in.

 

Hahaha, I just take it as a point of pride and laugh it off. Then just to antagonize them I tell them the mileage.

All the local dealerships is my area have a parts website in the following URL format: parts.[dealername]toyota.com

I expect most, if not all, dealerships run a parts website.

 

I do local dealer, but i have to be picky which one. Some of them dont have their warehouse onsite so i can only get parts next day at best, while some can have them ready in minutes.

 

My local dealer's parts department is great, and their service department single-handedly convinced me to do my timing belt myself instead of paying them. Don't write off a parts department because the service department sucks.
