    Hmmm...

    What do you mean by"
"ARB front bumper for the broke gen here:"

Broke as in "if I buy this I'm gonna be broke" or "I'm goin' for broke"...?

That’s a nice looking rig but they gotta get rid of that grille

    :puke:

I considered getting an ARB bumper for my 3rd gen to protect against animal strikes but I couldn’t deal with how beefy and bulky the bumper is.

I’m pretty sure they’re going to release this in 2 years from now… They made a press release for their 2022 Tundra bumper years ago and it’s still not available

It’s like $2800 too… A C4 fab starts at $1800 shipped to you unpainted. Some of the ARB pricing doesn’t make any sense

Built into the pricing would be assurance that the product works as advertised. One can assume, mistakenly or not, that ARB stress tested it on an actual vehicle.

I have a CBI front bumper on my TH and am not sure of what if anything they did to test it. I am assuming nothing as my installer described some of the hiccups encountered with the install. I am more inclined to think many of these vendors are only slightly better than an Orange County Chopper of yesteryear. Minus the drama. But including the throw together stuff, make it purdy, and get it out there.

    Just my cynical view.

One of the benefits of purchasing a CBI bumper is that they'll actually construct and deliver your bumper as opposed to funding their lifestyle with your deposit until they gather additional deposits to maybe make your bumper.

I’ve had a cbi too. On my 2017. I smashed up a couple cars with it purposely and it held up fine. Nothing too crazy, city driving under 35mph

I’ve had CBI, C4, Brute Force, All Pro, and Bay Area metal fab on my 3rd gen… They’re all well built products

This front bumper reminds me of Quagmire from family guy.

Seems pricey, but then, I guess you could go cheap.

Trying to figure out where the hi lift jack points are. The only pieces that look like they can hold a load are the tow points. But those are too far underneath even to get a soft shackle attachment. And the bull portion of the bumper is tool angled.

Edit: Maybe really long soft shackles to the tow points. But, then the jack is going to lean into the bumper too much.
