Mostly stock, just getting it to my liking, just happy to have had the taco and now my 4Runner.
Loved mine, corvette power with suv luxury, what’s not to like, except a weak transmission. I would take another in a heartbeat though. Just with more wisdom that I have now.

    had a 91, 95, 2004....
Picture sucks, all my extensive digital photos of the car are gone..
you can see this was in 2000....
This was a street car, not a track car.
paid $12k for the car on my dealers used lot & it had like 12k miles on it, employee pricing..
Sold it for $16k, wanted it gone before I blew it up...
lost my ass selling / no value....
Did most of the work myself on my back, at home in the garage, not at the shop / dealership...
last year for the 5.0 before they switched to the modular 4.6L sohc
    suspension mods:
    camber / caster plates
    steeda front strut tower brace
    eibach sportline lowering springs
    steeda weld-in subframe connectors
    steeda panhard bar
    solid aluminum steering rack bushings
    exterior:
    1996 update rear taillights
    color matched side mirrors
steeda 4" cal induction fiberglass hood, with required hoodpins
    saleen single stage rear wing
cobra-r wheels with matched size tires
    engine..................
aluminum edlebrock aluminum big valve heads w/ port work
head gaskets were oring'd & grooves cut in cylinder heads to handle the pressure of the upgraded 14lb Vortex S-trim..
cobra r extruded honed upper & lower matched intake manifolds
Custom grind cam developed by JBA "Jay Bittle American"in san diego with 1.7 aluminum roller rocker arms. Sounded amazingly lumpy & config'd to run well with the SC...
Anderson Motorsports 14lb Vortex Supercharger S-trim kit with wide belt, with the cold air metal large downpipe, airfilter in very bottom portion of front bumper out of eng compartment.
This kit was put together by Anderson & could not be purchased from Vortex.
Stock vortex was only 8lbs & stock bottom end was able to handle the 14lb's due stock hypereutectic pistons in factory stock shortblock
40 lb??? larger fuel injectors along with a high volume 155 lph in-tank replacement fuel pump
    large 90mm? mass aiflow sensor
    underdrive pulleys
    large 75mm? BBK throttlebody
    FMS shorty headers
offroad pipe so the 4 cats were non-existent
40 or 50 series? flowmaster mufflers / cat back system with larger diameter pipes throughout
MSD ignition system with large high performance sparkplug wires.
Correctly tuned & dialed-in to run correctly....
    short throw shifter
    3:55 FMS rear diff gears.
Interior was simple, just white face gauges in instrument cluster
gauge pod on A pillar with matching white face gauges, showing just boost & oil pressure if I remember correctly
wont bore you with the sound system.....
Im sure im missing something but you get the point....
My old-man would always yell at me, youre wasting your money, quit being dumb, save your damn money....

    He was right....
As ive aged, ive turned into my fathers son...
Sold that car before I blew it up, tinkering got old when you had to do it for a living, tuning, worrying if its going to ping, who know what's going on internally, etc....
Wheels in your head always spinning when all you do is see bad shit everyday when it comes to car failures...

Still think it would be really cool to have a 91 again, father & son project....
Same time, I dont want to wrench anymore, single car garage at my condo isn't any fun.....
Not sure my 15 year old would appreciate the nostalgia....
    Where's my bmw dad....

I bought it with a bad trans and had a built one put in with a 3600 stall. That was the first trans I’d had rebuilt that didn’t make me want to sell the car. Guy knew his stuff and it just flat worked great.

Mostly stock, just getting it to my liking, just happy to have had the taco and now my 4Runner.
Sadly when mine blew I had to hunt to find a reputable built trans for it, and it was never the same. Just felt off. Never felt reliable again. Mine was an interesting story to get to me.

    Storytime,
The parts department manager at the lot I got it from bought it at their local auction with a blown engine with 70k, when it arrived on the trailer he rolled it into shop and used his pdm super powers and selected all new parts and had his head shop mechanic build it.
New block, new pistons, etc, nothing on the engine was left untouched that he could order in the book, except the tranny, apparently that’s where he decided to cheap out, he even replaced the rearend and driveshaft, but skipped the flipping tranny. No clue why.
Once complete he had it for a little over a year when his wife decided she wanted a new corvette when the new stingray came out. So he was given the tough choice trade the trailblazer in or buy the vette and keep it as well, and the trade in value his lot gave him won out.
Luckily I had a friend who worked at the lot as well who knew the guy/vehicle/situation, and as soon as the ink dried on his tradein I had my info in the lot managers hands working on a deal. It followed me home 24 hours later. The rest as they say is history.

I'd have to see more of it, but it appears as though she could be rescued, still!

Seems to be a lot of classic cars on this thread, but here was my old baby. 2003 Bugeye WRX with lots of mods and a sound system that would rattle you. Lots of sweat put into it. She was insanely fast. I miss her. :pout:

Wait… what’s going on here? Small picture on my phone and when I first saw it I thought it was someone restoring a double cab.

...^^^... I hope that they cut some windows (aka chin bubbles) in the front where the headlights are located.

You really need some visibility to the outside areas in that lower area to see where you are landing.

PS ... Some manually retractable rollers/wheels on those skids would be neat also.
