I think mine are the same, but I think mine came from Poland (I don't actually remember...) I bought two sets just in case. Wiring harness has given out before the bulbs! Just got the replacement one today from TX; so, joy of joys I will have high beams soon.

Been wandering around the net looking at fun upgrades. Longfield front axle shafts... Holy shikie these are gold. Best I found was $1800 for a pair. Sure makes those NAPA shafts look good! Guess I'll wait until I run afoul of that weak spot. Wowzers! Although, I am ready to pull the trigger on a set of BTF LCA's for that kind of money. Guess its perceived need and concern... These will actually help with getting to 37's and I know you are all waiting for that transition...

    New sticker yesterday: https://tireflateinc.com/products/1...er-heavy-duty-offroad-overland-air-compressor

The old one worked pretty well, after all of the mods, but this one will out perform it...it's almost double the cost of the old one. Of course, I had to tweek it a bit. I pulled the 1/8" pipe whip hose with 1/4" pipe fittings and a pressure switch to shut it down @ 100 psi.

I'm making another minor change in the near future: I have a junkyard OEM Offroad wheel on the way. I will have a matching tire mounted to it for a spare. I haven't been comfortable with the mis-matched spare. New spare won't have a TPMS sensor in it and may not wind up in rotation...not sure on that yet. WTF Toyota didn't allow for 5 TPMS sensors, I'll never figure out. I guess I could buy a programmer and re-program 1 every rotate...:spending:

I believe with the TPMS's toyota realised 99% of buyers don't rotate using the spare.

My offroad has a steely spare, not going into the rotation.

You can program five. They stopped doing it in like 2009 on the Tacomas because the spare usually was on steel wheel versus the alloy wheels for the regulars. Which is a different sensor.

Plenty of other Toyota vehicles have five programmed from the factory

But Tacomas don't. Appreciate the info, but I have a Tacoma...don't GAF about other models.

Yes, but it will accept a fifth program sensor if you choose to.

    I have 5 OEM but I'm only rotating 4.
I don't care about the tpms but before Kentucky I should get a 5th matching tire. In the event of a flat, I wouldn't want to continue on the trip(trails) with the spare that's on it now.

Also, I don't know the truth behind it but have read the steel spare won't fit over wheel spacers.
I grabbed that 5th oem or wheel instead of finding out the hard way.

I wonder what your thoughts are actually. Knowing that I wander through the process in a backyard fashion as opposed to your thoroughly thought out and executed methodology...

I just ignore the light. Been so long now I don't even notice it. They make black electrical tape. I have been told it is just the right size, if properly cut, to make the light go away. Just a thought.
