Hmmmm, methinks I should check out my spare. Didn't think to check that on purchase. The XP package swapped factory 17"s for 18"s. Sad to say, but I'd not be surprised if they didn't swap out the spare's 17" rim for an 18" despite the ridiculous $4K price Southeast Toyota Distributors asks you to pay for that package.

today I drove out to WV, grabbed a snowsport HD plow off Craigslist, and threw it on the rear hitch and plowed out my driveway in like 3 passes. Shovels are now reserved for stairs and paths and the snowblower is reserved for blizzards.

Quick rinseless wash. Going in for tires tomorrow and I don't want it filthy looking. Took it to the coin op and pressure washed all the salt off first, then brought it in the garage and fired up the heater.

Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail in 265/70/17 over the stock 245's. The Firestones are absolute garbage in snow so they gotta go!

It barely clears. It used to be a carport so it has the 2x12 beams across the front. My garage door is 6'9" so just high enough.

Took her for a ride with my wife to see family in Atlanta. As usual, Yoda purred like a kitten while cruising down I-75.
Got home to find this in the mailbox, ordered two weeks or so ago from TacoMods on Etsy...

Below: Stock knob on left, TacoMod knob on right...'Nuff said.

    upload_2025-1-12_16-23-51.png

Can't stand the factory volume knob, love this one. Quality is miles above my SR5's stock one. Toyota engineers could learn a thing or two from the person that designed & produced this knob. Tactile feel is perfect, fingers don't feel like they're gonna slip off at the slightest bump in the road like the stock knob felt. Highly recommend for anyone owning a '24 Tacoma with the 8" factory display. $24 plus shipping seems spendy until you install it and realize how much you appreciate it every time you reach out to change volume quickly.

IMG_20250111_163149764_HDR.jpg Well, no more back seats. Finished up my rear-seat-delete-rear-deck. I left the storage bins. This adds some depth to storage area as well.

Nice! Does it still hinge upward for full access to the storage area underneath, or is the only access the hatch you placed there? Also, how much travel does the passenger seat have to recline?

Just the access door I added. But I have access to the whole storage area (from driver side). The passenger seat can go all the way back and full recline. The rear deck is 54" x 24".
I wanted to be able to keep a cooler on passenger side and still access storage.

New shoe day. Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail in 265/70/17. Much better looking than the stock 245's.

This is dope. Do you happen to have the dimensions of cuts written down? I'd love to use to use this as a reference for myself.
