@Sperrunner does 1/10 scale (larger) so I'd expect theirs to squish way more

 

Is this rig heavier than the other one?

Yep! Has a brass skid plate, brass weights for the wheels, and stainless steel links.

That and a hard body is much heavier than say, a lexan body

I play with them everyday

I'm actually selling the blue one because I want to limit myself to 2 crawlers - the GX470 was a gift from Stephanie so I'm keeping that for indoor stuff, and I'm building a competition crawler for local comps

Only problem is, the hobby has a lot of people acting like gatekeepers.

Me and one other member in another thread here have been sharing our findings whether it's motor compatibility, driveshaft parts, links and more.

 

@Kwikvette i use to buy dual stage foams and only run the inner on my 1/10 with 2.2s. Always looked air down

Items like brass vs stainless steel links, foams vs silicone, etc aren't as much of a factor it seems in 1/24 scale so it makes things easier at least.

When does the Deadbolt get turned into a comp rig?

 

It seems like there will always be folks like that trying to control the situation. Their "loudness" is usually masking their own insecurities. If that fits, they can be ignored.

I've noticed that becoming more and more of a problem in the last couple of years. seems like people got the time to deep dive into their hobbies and learn everything and now anyone who isn't at their level is beneath them

 

Idk, once im done with the power wagon probably. But yeah 1/10 you take alot in to factor and spend alot. Shot that axle probably cost as much as your comp rig. Thats a 250 axle just for the rear, had the matching front too lol.

 

I do know 1/10 axles cost way more

But, my comp rig is already over $700
