But frame swaps are pretty straight forward if your stuck with it...
Its not like theyre completely disabling you're engine, that's where things get kinky..
Just transferring everything!!!!
fuel system, brake lines, power plant, diffs, exhaust, harnesses, cab, bed, cooling system, everything...

Yikes. The frame swap on my 2010 was about 12K worth if it was billed.

not sure what a broker is going to do for you, that you cant do yourself......

I have no idea, did you confirm someone on this forum has one with an upgrade package???
Just cuz they list it in the search tool as an option, doesnt mean its being produced....
You may be searching for something that doesnt exist...

That's actually exactly what it means.

Toyota only makes X trucks, they don't "make to order". If it's in the search tool, that means it's a configuration they made or are going to make, and can be earmarked (allocated) to you (or anyone, as the buyer) through the dealership allocations.

 

I was more concerned with the option being listed within the website may no necessarily mean that option is being produced....
Perfect example to make my point:
You go to the tool & select sr5....
Then go to options & select 14" display....
Which is in the tool.......

Well vehicles do come-up & they all have 8" displays once you look at the spec sheet...
I could be wrong again, but dont think you can get an sr5 with a 14 screen....

If that's the case with the extra cab & technology package, move-on...
I have no idea, but you need to do your DD & not rely on the website configuration to determine if a option you want is being produced.

Then again if theyre just making a few, youre looking for a needle in a haystack & need to move on & go to plan B....

Another example within the search inventory website, you can select SR & within the options tab you can select SR5 upgrade package....
Can you truly get an SR with an upgrade sr5 package?

Im just trying to point out that's theres glitches within the website.....

wouldn't trust a salesman's word stating theyre produced...

 

that being said, looking at the extra cab appreciation thread,
I do see front & rear bumper sensors, so the upgrade package actually does exist....

 

He did thanks. Just making sure all my notes are in order and I texted the right person. I texted him right before Christmas and told him what I was looking for. I'll follow up again soon. I know it's a tough vehicle to find. What's another truckless month or 2 ... right?

 

This is the truck I would have bought.

If you use Toyota's configurator and inventory finder, change the zip to different major cities (with the 500 mile search radius). Some combinations are only sent to some regional markets. In the past, manuals were near impossible to get here, but abundant in Colorado.

Need to strap down to the chair & put in the work yourself....
We have no idea where bronze is willing to travel, etc....
Its all available at his finger tips, search the entire USA, state by state, brick by brick.......

If it doesnt fall on a dealers lap, they won't be calling....
